Chopin's girlfriend
Apparently Chopin dated one of the most notable cross-dressers in history: George Sand, aka Aurore Lucile Daupin. I was puzzling over where the great composer fits in a quote from Vladimir Horowitz: “There are only three types of pianists: Jewish pianists, homosexual pianists, and bad pianists.” Presumably, Horowitz was not thinking of great jazz pianists, who tend be 1) black, 2) insane, or 3) both.
