One of my favorite beats you may remember from Got Purp Vol. 2?, I like this Busta remix also off of Remix General. To my mind, he’s up there with Bun B and Young Jeezy for the adlibs: the staccato “ha”s are familiar, but he throws in a pronounced, judo-chop “huh” on this track. In addition to antics, rhythm is really the name of the game with Busta Bus, noteworthy here in the polyrhythmic line running:
