Never Scared - Bone Crusher ft. Cam’ron, Jadakiss, and Busta Rhymes
Another throwback, I’m putting this one up to shine some more light on the merciless mind of Jadakiss. The flow is simplistic and punchy, with a fairly straightforward rhyme scheme; these bars basically all rely on the “what you want” coda:
“You could think what you want/till I blow the back of yo brains out, and see if you could think with yo front/Like a new single, make sure you leak for a month/Treat you face like a buffet and tell my niggas eat what you want/You don’t know nuttin about pouring a couple hundred thousand on the table - and tellin yo niggas “Keep what you want”
Why does it work? The Kiss of Death portrays the ultimate Nietzchean/Machiavellian urban Uberman: free from remorse, he takes care of his fam and that’s it.
